Synopsis:
" why a surgeon with a brilliant career, a perfect family and a splendid future up everything for going to a small clinic in a small South American town? That is the starting point for Off the Map, the new series of Shonda Rhimes. In it, five doctors who have become disillusioned with his work and his life was transferred to the ends of the earth to try to remember why they once chose to be doctors. Because sometimes, before you find yourself ... you have to lose. 
At that small clinic, with little resources or personnel, is where doctors have just arrived Brenner Lily (Caroline Dhavernas, Wonderfalls), Mina Minard (Mamie Gummer, The Good Wife) and Manny Diaz (Enrique Murciano, Without a Trace) . All flee their personal demons but not the only ones with an emotional baggage. Ben Keeton (Martin Henderson, The Ring), who was the youngest chief of surgery at UCLA, fled his career and founded this clinic. Along with his right hand, Otis Cole (Jason George, Eli Stone), will teach these newcomers how to save lives in the most difficult in which they have never worked.
