Junpei Manaka, to escape to the roof of his school one afternoon, he sees a beautiful girl fall in front of him. Before her escape, the wind lifts her skirt showing her underwear with strawberries and it's love at first sight. Junpei also believes that this scene would be perfect in a movie, because his dream is to become a filmmaker.
On premises, finds a notebook belonging to a Aya Tojo. He hopes that she is the mysterious girl but regrets to find that is a very attractive girl with thick glasses and hair up. However, he soon discovers he is a gifted writer, and confesses his dream.
Junpei's friends, Rikiya Okus Komiyama and will suggest that the mysterious girl could be Tsukasa Nishino, the prettiest girl in school and agree to wear underwear with strawberries. Following a tip from Aya, Junpei is declared by a push-up exercises at a bar, and Tsukasa mysteriously accepted.
Junpei and Tsukasa plan to attend high school together Izumizaka, the only one with a film club. Aya helps the two to study for entrance exams and the love triangle is established.
In a turn of events, Aya decides not to attempt to enter Sakai (a school just for girls, and his first choice) or Ōmi Academy (a school only for girls), but to assist Izumizaka with others. It is during the entrance exams that Junpei finally realize that Aya is the girl he saw on the terrace, because she appears wearing contact lenses and hair soil (a look which from that time keep most of the time .) Even more surprising, Tsukasa decides to go to the Academy Ōmi hoping somehow to maintain a distance relationship with Junpei. By leaving your free quota, Tsukasa Junpei gives the possibility to enter (one of the three on the waiting list, the other is Komiyama, and then discovers that Kitaoji Satsuki is the third).
Soon after receiving his first video camera, Junpei sees a beautiful girl and begins shooting. The meeting ends badly and the girl, Satsuki Kataoji, throws his camera to a river. Never imagined they would be in the same school for the next three years. Discovering that are in the same class as a new school, starts immediately a discussion between the two and both receive as punishment the cleanup. Junpei's chivalry after an accident causes Satsuki begins to fall in love with him. It helps that the two begin to spend much time together as they recover from the accident. It turns out that the two have many interests

Junpei discovers that the film club became a computer graphics club. As a prerequisite to starting a new club, Junpei finds four other students to join: Satsuki, Aya, and two good but perverted friends and Hiroshi Komiyama Sotomura.
As Tsukasa can not stand Junpei doubts about their relationship, decides to end it. The complex and comical love life of Junpei continues to find his childhood friend Yui Minamito (who has a nasty habit of sleeping naked) in bed asleep. Yui is not really considered a potential love interest for Junpei, he seen as a girl and her relationship resembles that of an older brother to his younger sister. Junpei tells her he's trying to get into a school in the city and he should help. The school chosen is the same as Tsukasa. Once again, Tsukasa - who apparently still holds dear to him Junpei - enters the picture.
After many volumes moving, complex and lengthy, which shows new characters and new love interest for both the player and for some of the girls, Tsukasa finally declares to Junpei, confessing his desire to become your girlfriend again the same way that Junpei had done some time ago (by inflections). While Junpei can not respond immediately, the next afternoon now agree that genuinely loves Tsukasa. After a last attempt to Satsuki to have something with him, Junpei reveals that Tsukasa rejoined. Aya, after hearing this and before they complete their final year together, full of courage and Junpei desperately confesses to being in love with him since the first day they shared their dreams in their previous school. Despite admitting that it was his first love Aya, Junpei decides to stay with Tsukasa because she became really important to him.
Tsukasa's dream of studying in France to be a chef makes his inevitable separation. Junpei suggests you should end and try to achieve their own dreams for themselves. Tsukasa agrees but says he wants to remain his girlfriend until you have to go. When they say goodbye at the airport, promising to be seen again when you return to Japan Tsukasa
In the epilogue, four years later, the film club members meet in Kyoto in a restaurant that serves Satsuki. All share their accomplishments through the years - Aya's writing career flourished and Junpei is a rising power film (having already won a small prize and be invited to join the company of a famous director). After talking to Aya, acknowledges that he could never have come this far and realize his dream without the help of his friends and especially her support. Asks him to wait until you are able to adapt his first novel to a movie.
In the final scene, Junpei Tsukasa meets for the first time since his departure and asks if you want to go out with him again. She accepts (and shows it using a ring that gives him the Christmas Junpei before their separation) and the two embrace in the last frame of the manga.
